Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA) is an internationally known ministry for children.  Oak Hill Baptist Church currently utilizes the program in the Children’s Ministry (ages 2 years old through 5^th grade).  Based on II Timothy 2:15, the program involves three basic segments of club night:  1) Game Time, 2) Handbook Time, and 3) Council Time, during which the boys and girls learn about our great God.  “Clubbers” work their way through the handbooks and earn badges to display on their uniforms.   The AWANA program is held each Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.   Parents are encouraged to bring their children as all who are currently participating love our program!
